As time went on, Beatrix continued to to focused on her attention on Shu ( who became lazy after the 'death' of his friend) and to neglect Reiji.When her second son finally had enough of his mother neglecting him, Reiji hired a vampire hunter who was named Seiji Komori to her.
Seiji seriously injured Beatrix and left her to die. Reiji then came to see for the last time before she died. Instead of being shocked she was happy that Reiji showed his strength and that she always knew that he would be the one to kill her and died happy.
